Ms. DeBrigard is senior partner at Executive Development International (EDI), a consulting company working on business transformation, executive education, change management skills and process reengineering.
She has over twelve years of experience managing organizational improvement projects covering all phases form conception and conceptualization to the implementation stage and dismantling temporal structures created to support the projects. The scope includes funding, implementation, follow-up and navigation of all stages in change management activities and improvement processes.
Besides her teaching assignments in EDI, she manages the follow-up of major Action Learning projects developed to introduce change in client organizations worldwide. She conducts and facilitates sessions during assignments, tracks and provides support in the implementation phase. Clients include General Mills, Pillsbury, Ford Motor Company, General Electric Latin America, Construtora Andrade Gutierrez Brazil, Mercedes-Benz Brazil, and the Colombian Mission to the United Nations.
Her administrative and coordination background includes successful management of the overall modernization strategy in the Attorney General’s Office and the Prosecutor General’s Office of Colombia. This includes the implementation of more than 30 employee-developed projects, originated in a process reengineering effort she managed with an international consulting consortium including Price Waterhouse Coopers.
She is also the head of EDI Funding, a consulting practice in project development and fund rising, oriented to help non-profit organizations in Latin America to present their initiatives to American and European foundations interested in helping them with funding and/or technical expertise. EDI Funding works with the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture, a supranational development agency based in Spain.
Ms. DeBrigard has also taught political science at undergraduate level for which she received a recognition as the best teacher in surveys conducted among the students, three semesters in a row.
Ms. DeBrigard holds a BS in Political Science from Los Andes University in Bogotá and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Public Policy from the School of International Affairs at Columbia University with a concentration in project management, financing and evaluation.
Ms. DeBrigard works in English, Spanish and conversational Portuguese.
